P!nk on Christina
www.wildwritings.com
In the new sessions AOL Interview, Pink was asked what she thought about all of the rumors going around about her. She responded by saying most of them were really funny but she gets mad when people talk about "the whole Britney thing". She said: "I think she's great. I can't really disrespect anyone who gets their butt out of bed every morning and works their ass off. I have so much respect for her."

Colin Farrell's $64,000 Hotel Bill
www.wildwritings.com
Hellraiser Colin Farrell's penchant for excess left movie bosses fuming, after his two week stay at a Moroccan hotel left them with a $64,000 (GBP40,000) bill.

The beer-loving actor booked into capital Marrakech's Le Meridien Hotel for just 14 days, so film chiefs on his new movie Alexander were shocked to learn he'd splashed out the vast amount on booze.

But it appears the Irishman will escape punishment for his fortnight of binge drinking, because producers of the historical epic are confident his presence in the movie will score them a huge hit.

An insider says, "His suite was expensive enough, but his bosses nearly had a seizure when this bill dropped."

"They're not hopping mad though. Colin's a huge star and will more than make up for that by pulling audiences in when the film is released."

Farrell is now back in England, shooting scenes for the eagerly-awaited movie.

Britney chooses second single.
www.wildwritings.com
After trying to choose between "(I Got That) Boom Boom" and "Outrageous," Britney Spears has instead selected "Toxic" as her follow-up single to "Me Against the Music." "It's a very fun, upbeat song," Spears said of the track, on which she sings of being addicted to the wrong type of guy. "Bloodshy did it, they're great producers. The way they did it musically was very cool, and really different, that's why I like it so much."

Beyonce: I'm Not J.LO
www.wildwritings.com
Sexy singer Beyonce Knowles is flattered people often liken her to fellow star Jennifer Lopez - but wants to be known for her own merits.

The Crazy In Love stunner is carving out a career for herself as a solo artist and an actress, just like the Jenny From The Block beauty, but finds the comparisons slightly irritating.

She explains, "I know that I'm over a decade younger than her (Lopez), so it's flattering that I'm so young and people are comparing me to someone who has accomplished so much." "But I don't think I'm like anyone else and really, I'd rather not be compared to anyone else."

"She's a p*ssy," said Kelly. "She has a mouth on her, but she's all talk. She only does it because she always has a security guard around to punch anyone she gets in a fight with. She does have a beautiful voice. She just has a bad attitude to everything. She's a disgusting human being"

Gwyneth Paltrow Beats Madonna in Big Movie Roll
www.wildwritings.com
Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has beaten her pal Madonna to play a London diamond thief.

Both superstars wanted the rights to the story of Joan Harrington - known as The Godmother - who stole $5 million dollars worth of jewels from London's top jewellers in the 1980s.

But it's Gwyneth who is now set to bring the tale, based on Joan's autobiography I Am What I Am, to the big screen and don a Cockney accent. And Joan - who spent just 18 months in prison for her crimes - is happy the Shakespeare in Love beauty won out, because Madonna "can't act". She says, "They wanted Guy Ritchie to buy it, so Madonna could play me. "Number one, she can't act. Two, she can't do a Cockney accent and Gwyneth can.

"I think she will do me justice. She's very lucky to be playing me."

New Mariah Album in Spring 2005?
www.MariahInc.cjb.net
Philippine Mariah Carey Fan Club reports "On the night Mariah landed in the Philippines for the first time, Filipino fans followed her into Makati City Hotel, where they got a chance to talk to her people while in the lobby.

One of those people was Lionel Cole, Mariah's pianist and co-writer of several Charmbracelet album cuts (including "Through The Rain"). While talking, fans were able to ask him about plans to release a new Mariah album next year.

According Lionel, they are already gathering new material and are planning some concepts but it might be impossible to release next year due to Mariah's future commitments after her world tour ends. He rather added that it is more possible that the new album will be released in 2005.

Mr. Cole also commented on how Charmbracelet is doing on the chart and sales wise."It's doing well! Slowly but surely", he said."

The Full Scoop on Eminem: the racist comments
www.wildwritings.com
The New York Times reports "Hip-hop listening sessions are usually pretty dull affairs. It's hard to enjoy any hip-hop album when you're trapped in a conference room with a bunch of media professionals. But when executives from The Source, a hip-hop magazine, asked reporters to attend a listening session on Tuesday night, they weren't expecting people to have a good time. "This is a very important evening," said David Mays, the magazine's co-founder and chief executive. And then, through some rather feeble speakers, he played a profoundly poor hip-hop track from about a decade ago,
maybe longer.

The track is by Eminem, and it sounds like a free style, not a song. Like much of his best and best-known work, this rant castigates an untrustworthy ex-girlfriend. But in this case the ex-girlfriend is black, and the rhymes are full of crude racial taunts. "Black girls only want your money," he says more than once. And early on he lays out his conclusions in sweeping (and inept) language:

"Black girls and white girls just don't mix/Because black girls are dumb and white girls are good chicks/White girls are good, I like white girls/I like white girls all over the world/White girls are fine and they blow my mind/And that's why I'm here now, telling you this rhyme/'Cause black girls, I really don't like."

Even before the news conference had begun, Eminem had released a statement acknowledging that the words were his but calling them "foolishness," the sound of a spurned boyfriend venting his "anger, stupidity and frustration."

But the executives from The Source argued that this newly unearthed recording (provided to them, they say, by three white hip-hop fans from Detroit) is a mountain, not a molehill. Kim Osorio, the magazine's editor in chief, said, "These are racist remarks by someone who has the ability to influence millions of minds."

Eminem has spent much of his career earning fans by making enemies, and a casual observer might wonder how this new controversy differs from ones in which the rapper was accused of homophobia and misogyny - accusations that only helped broaden his fame.

The difference is that because he is a white rapper, Eminem has gone out of his way to avoid showing disrespect to African-Americans. He is always reverential to his mentor, Dr. Dre (even when he's joking about killing Dre in a song), and he has been effusive in his praise of 50 Cent, who records for Eminem's label, Shady Records. When listing his favorite rappers, he once ranked himself ninth, behind eight African-American counterparts.

Fox Announces International "Idol" Competition
www.wildwritings.com
"American Idol" Kelly Clarkson will get the chance to measure herself against her international counterparts.

In "World Idol," a two-part special airing the evenings of Christmas and New Year's Day, Clarkson will compete in London with winners from 10 other countries, including Lebanon, South Africa and Poland.

An international panel of judges, made up of one representative from each country, will comment on the performances. Then viewers from around the world will have the chance to vote.

Details on the voting process will be released later, according to the Fox network, home of "American Idol."

The competitors are all winners of the first season of the "Idol" series in their respective countries - making second-season U.S. winner Ruben Studdard ineligible, the network said Wednesday.

The program will air 8-10 p.m. EST on Dec. 25, and 9-10 p.m. EST on Jan. 1.

The "World Idol" participants, besides Clarkson, are Will Young, United Kingdom; Heinz Winckler, South Africa; Alicja Janosz, Poland; Jamai Loman, Netherlands; Alexander Klaws, Germany; Kurt Nilsen, Norway; Diana Karazon, Lebanon; Peter Evrard, Belgium, and Ryan Malcolm, Canada; and an Australian contestant who will be selected Nov. 19.

While "Idol" winners get record contracts in the national contests, a Fox spokeswoman said she was unaware of a prize for the international champion.

Sneak Peak: "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"
www.wildwritings.com
Release date: June 2004 Harry has once again spent the summer school holiday with the dreadful Dursleys. Because of an unpleasant magical incident involving Uncle Vernon's even more tedious sister, Aunt Marge, Harry flees the Dursleys and ends up living at the Leaky Cauldron hotel/pub in magical Diagon Alley until the school year starts. He learns that evil murderer Sirius Black has escaped from the wizard prison of Azkaban and that there is reason to believe that Black might come after Harry to do him some kind of unnamed
harm. On the train ride back to school, Harry and the rest of the Hogwarts Scooby Gang encounter a gang of Dementors--basically bounty hunter versions of the Grim Reaper, only not as inclined to play Twister and rock out on electric guitar as Bill and Ted might have led us to believe.

When one of the Dementors gets a little too frisky with Harry, he gets a little help
from Remus Lupin, the new Defense Against Dark Arts teacher. (Fun pop culture side game: start counting the number of times you see a journalist use the phrase "drummer for Spinal Tap" in connection with a Hogwarts DADA teacher. The mind boggles.) As the school year unfolds, Sirius Black continues to close in Harry until we reach a climatic ending in which Harry learns more about his parents and the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive of 2003
www.wildwritings.com
People magazine has named Johnny Depp the "Sexiest Man Alive 2003," saying the actor, known for his "brooding eccentricities," has mellowed since becoming a father.

Depp, star of this year's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," has two young children with his girlfriend, French actress and pop singer Vanessa Paradis.

"Because he arrived at his new, happy place without selling out, without becoming slick or packaged or politically correct, he is a hero to his fans and an idol to his young co-stars," People says in its Dec. 1 issue.

The 40-year-old actor is known for hiding under layers of hats and blankets in his private life and behind oddball characters in his films, the magazine said. "But he is finally coming to terms with his own charisma..."

Depp also has starred in "Edward Scissorhands," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "Sleepy Hollow" and "Chocolat." His upcoming movies include "J.M. Barrie's Neverland." People also picked its Top 10 sexiest men: Brad Pitt, Ashton Kutcher, George Clooney, Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake, Hugh Grant, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Denzel Washington and Colin Farrell.

Kid Rock's Rage Caught on Tape!
www.wildwritings.com
An evening out for KID ROCK and PAMELA ANDERSON turned violent last Friday when the rock star, whose real name is ROBERT RITCHIE, reportedly tossed a photographer onto busy Los Angeles' Pacific Coast Highway.

Most of the melee was caught on video. The altercation took place as Rock and Pamela were leaving the Malibu Inn. When the famous couple stepped outside and the rocker saw the paparazzi, he began to shout and appears to throw a drink at a photographer snapping shots. After Pamela got into the couple's SUV, Rock then turns his attention to the man with the video camera. Video of the scuffle shows Rock seemingly throwing a punch that fails to land on his intended target.

The shaken photographers called police and an ambulance before seeking refuge in their cars until help arrived. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed there is an ongoing investigation, but would not say whether Rock is a suspect or a victim.

Celebrities comment on Michael Jackson
www.wildwritings.com
Missy Elliott: "He's my biggest influence so that's why I'm very defensive," Missy Elliott said. "I'm ready to fight about Michael Jackson, so we pray to God he didn't do it, 'cause I might go to jail trying to defend him."

Ludacris: "Definitely people are trying to go after him 'cause he's a celebrity, trying to make an example out of him," Ludacris said. "Hopefully, justice will prevail."

Lionel Richie: "I grew up with him and I've spent a lot of time at Neverland and nothing has ever happened with me in any way," Lionel Richie said. "You have to look at both sides. I do think it is very convenient that his album came out and all this stuff is happening. I definitely do think that's very convenient. ... It really hurts me to see that his whole life is ruined."

Pharrell Williams: "I don't know, man. It's something you hate to see," was all a solemn Pharrell Williams could say.

Alicia Keys: "I'm upset at the way he's being treated in the media," Alicia Keys said. "I think they're really trying to slander his name, and I really think that's unfair for the way that he's contributed to the American culture since the day he was born. I think he deserves much more than that."

LL Cool J: "What it always seems like is guilty until proven innocent, and [even] then we might still think you're guilty," LL Cool J said. "Until I see some evidence that says he's guilty, I support him publicly."

J.Lo Slapped with anoither lawsuit
www.wildwritings.com
Jennifer Lopez has been slapped with a copyright-infringement lawsuit by Maureen Marder, the real-life dancer who inspired the movie Flashdance. The suit claims that Jennifer and her label, Sony, didn't have Maureen's permission to make the video for "I'm Glad," which re-created scenes from the popular '80s film. "We tried to resolve this claim without litigation," says Maureen's lawyer, "but Sony and Lopez ignored us."

Christina Bashed Britney and Beyonce!
www.wildwritings.com
No one, she says is bold the way she is bold.

“Look at people like Beyoncé or Britney. They’re desperate to come across as sweet, good little girls, but then you see them in photo shoots that are extremely sexual-tight little booty shorts, and not much else. So why do they try to be virginal in interviews?” She holds her finger to her mouth, Lolita-like, and affects a note-perfect Spears impersonation. “’Oh, gosh, I haven’t kissed a boy in I don’t know how long!’”

The finger drops away and her top lip curls into an Elvis sneer. “Come on, girls, stop contradicting yourselves! If you want to do those magazine covers and those videos, then fine, more power to you. But don’t revert to innocence afterwards.” She shakes her head. “I will not hide behind anything, ever. I’m a sexually strong female, and I’m proud to be one. If anyone had a problem with that, tough.

Mariah Goes Diva in China
www.MariahInc.cjb.net
Pop superstar Mariah Carey has been accused of playing the diva while touring in China after making a series of outrageous demands. Concert organizers in the Communist country have been stunned by Carey's behavior since she arrived in Shanghai last week carrying 60 pieces of luggage and an incredible 350 pairs of shoes, according to American website The Scoop.

She was whisked off to the city's Hilton hotel by a convoy of eight vehicles, four just to carry her baggage, but refused the reserved presidential suite - requesting a suite with more feminine wall colors. Carey then banned journalists from asking personal questions and photographers from taking pictures of her at a press conference. According to the Shanghai Star newspaper, "The reason, the local organizer said, was that camera flashes and the 'clicking' sound of the shutters would put Carey off."

But the Honey hitmaker's behavior doesn't seem to have deterred eager fans from snapping up tickets to her gigs.A Chinese media source tells the Scoop, "In spite of her ostentatious and uncooperative attitude to the local media, the tickets for her concert sold out very quickly."

Paris Hilton "Embarrassed" About sex tape
www.wildwritings.com
Paris Hilton says she never thought the sex video she made with her ex-boyfriend ever would become public.

"I feel embarrassed and humiliated, especially because my parents and the people who love me have been hurt," the socialite and reality TV actress said Monday in a statement to The Associated Press. "I was in an intimate relationship and never, ever thought that these things would become public."

The heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune made a homemade video with then-boyfriend Richard Salomon three years ago. Snippets have been sent to various media outlets and have been making the rounds on the Internet. Salomon contends the tape was stolen and that copies were made and circulated by an acquaintance without his permission or knowledge.

Last week, Salomon filed a $10 million slander lawsuit against Hilton, her parents and publicist. The lawsuit maintains that Hilton was an "active participant" in making the video, but she and her family have waged a "cold, calculated and malicious campaign to portray Salomon as a rapist" to protect her image.

He also filed a $10 million lawsuit against an Internet porn company, claiming that Seattle-based Marvad Corp. distributed footage from the video without obtaining the legal rights.

The company, in turn, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Salomon's former roommate for more than $10 million. It alleges that Donald Thrasher  of Los Angeles misled the company into believing he owned the rights to the video.

Thrasher maintains he did have the rights and that Salomon, a friend of 11 years, gave them to him. "We had an agreement to sell the tape," Thrasher told The Associated Press Saturday. "He gave me the tape. Period."

Halle Berry Gets Punk'd
www.wildwritings.com
Oscar-winning beauty Halle Berry found herself the victim of practical joker Ashton Kutcher yesterday when she was blocked from going into her own film premiere. The hot actress was initially shocked at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Gothika when security guards refused her entry to the cinema, claiming it was too full.

Berry started rowing with the guards before cheeky Ashton appeared to tell her it was all a practical joke for his popular MTV show Punk 'D - and the sexy star quickly saw the funny side and collapsed into fits of laughter.
