Jessica Simpson's "Dumb" comments lands her ABC Sitcom!
www.wildwritings.com
Jessica Simpson , the singer famous for dippy-blonde moments on her MTV reality show, has reached a deal with ABC to develop a comedy.

"Jessica has infectious energy and unmistakable star quality," ABC Entertainment President Susan Lyne said Friday. "She also has a built-in fan base in both music and television, which is a great jumping off point for us."

Simpson, 23, and her husband, Nick Lachey, also agreed to a second season of their reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica." The series made Simpson infamous for unintentional humor, including the time she confused the tuna she was eating for chicken. "Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish?" she asked Lachey, 29, in the show's first episode. "I know it's tuna, but it says 'Chicken by the Sea.'"

Critics Trash Madonna's Second Childrens Book
www.wildwritings.com
MSN Entertainment reports "Madonna may know her way around a cone bra and Britney's lips, but when it comes to telling the tale of an undersized little leaguer who accuses his coach of stealing, she's apparently out her league. Critics are crying foul over her second kids' book, "Mr. Peabody's Apples," which bows just a couple months after her children's book debut "The English Roses."

"A dreary, heavy-handed tale," snips USA Today, which says that although the book "is supposedly inspired by a 300-year-old story told by Madonna's Kabbalah teacher, the message is pedestrian and predictable." The paper concludes, "The book displays a humorless, ham-fisted morality."

Nelly's venture has upset pressure groups because of it's controversial name - but he insists, "Pimp Juice is nothing derogatory, it's an energy drink.

"It's not an alcoholic beverage or nothing like that. I'm a big fan of sports. With (rap collective) the St. Lunatics, we need a lot of energy. We're constantly working."

Britney on ABC: Drugs, Justin, and her New Music
www.wildwritings.com
The Primetime ABC Special of Britney Spears just wrapped up, and Britney talked openly about Justin Timberlake, her new music, and drug usage.

Sources are quoted as saying, Let's just say that you a reach a stage in your life where you are curious. I was  curious at one point. Was it a mistake? Yes. Does this validate the story  Star ran a few weeks ago placing Britney at a nightclub snorting cocaine. Friends of the singer disagree, she did not say what drug she used.

It could have very well been pot, x or any other drug on the street. Honestly, she didnt even say that she used drugs. The way the story is written in a way to make them look good and to down Britney. Is this another Whitney Houston situation? Do we need to send a few men in stray jackets to save Britney Spears? Is this worth another column? No.

Britney Spears is human and like many teenagers her age, exploring is part of the game. In the words of Britney her career is her only addiction, Im way too focused to let anything stop me.

Mariah's concerts tend to be 90 minutes long, and the set list changes per venue.

Spears, 22, has raised eyebrows after appearing on covers for Rolling Stone and Esquire wearing very little clothing.

But 19-year-old Moore admits it's a road she feels she'll never go down.

She says, "I was just looking through this magazine and saw Britney Spears wearing underwear, with just jewellery over her boobs.

"I'm not quick to criticize, but I think someone has to be really confident about the way she looks to do that. And I'm just not."

Disney Pulls the Plug on Ben Affleck
www.wildwritings.com
Disney has pulled the plug on Ben Affleck's latest movie - just a month before filming was due to start.

It has apparently got the jitters about Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and decided not to go ahead with the idea.

But Affleck's deal means he will still be paid despite the fact that no cameras will roll. Disney is said to have baulked at the film's projected cost and the fact that 31-year-old Affleck's image has been tarnished in recent times. He has taken a beating at the box office with the failure of his most recent film Gigli.

And his marriage to his co-star in that movie, Jennifer Lopez, was called off amid reports he had a wild night out at a Canadian strip club. Affleck was to have played a bed-hopping bachelor shown the error of his ways when he is visited by images of past girlfriends while at his brother's wedding. Neither Disney nor Affleck's own production company LivePlanet would comment.

He returns to US cinemas on Christmas Day in the John Woo action film Paycheck

No more Topless Britney Spears Photos .. for now.
www.wildwritings.com
Britney Spears hasn't exactly been shy lately. She's appeared topless on the cover of Rolling Stone and British Elle magazines and bottomless on the cover of Esquire.

But after taking it all off for the suggestive pictures, the 21-year-old pop star says she plans to put it all back on - at least for now. "I did feel kind of weird after those photos," Spears tells Newsweek magazine for its Nov. 3 issue, referring to the Esquire cover on which she wears nothing but a white sweater and high heels.

"I was in a moment. I had, like, eight Red Bulls and said, 'OK, let's do it.' I learned my lesson and you won't see me like that for a while. I'm kinda over it myself. Not that it's dirty or tacky, but it is really revealing and I wouldn't want my kid, at 21, to be dressing like that."

Spears also says she swore off dating for a while after her very public breakup with Justin Timberlake. She says she's still not involved with anyone, despite reports that she hooked up with a married backup dancer. "There was a time when I was like, 'OK, I'm over men. They're mean,'" she says. "For like six months, not a single thing happened. Not like they weren't drawn to me, but there wasn't a single real attraction. I'm like,
'What's happening? I know I'm not a lesbian.'"

Vivica A. Fox on her 'Friendship' with 50 Cent.
www.wildwritings.com
Movie pin-up Vivica A. Fox is refusing to date anyone right now because she's focused on becoming pal 50 Cent'ss best friend. The couple attended the MTV Music Video Awards together in August (03) and sparked a stream of gossip as reports of a romance spread. Both have since denied they're dating, but they freely admit they're very good friends - and that's more than enough for Fox, who split from husband Christopher Harvest last year (02).

She explains, "I'm having a lot of fun with 50. We're having a blossoming friendship and he's cool. I'm not dating anybody else. I don't think there's no more room for anybody else between the career and that and him." Fox insists that the most attractive thing about her new pal is his work ethic. She adds, "He's such a workaholic that he's not what you would think a rock star is. He's a workaholic like myself and I think a lot of people don't realize what it is that we have in common. We both have a huge work ethic thing.

"He's not taking this for granted what's happening to him and neither am I. I just admire and respect how professional and how hard he works."
