WW: Tell us a little about you, your life?
A: My name is Angel, I just turned 16, I'm in 10th grade and
I live in Los Angeles
WW: What made you want to become a singer?
A: When I was little I was always singing. I drove my mom
crazy! So I just kept singing!
WW: Growing up, who were your musical influences?
A: Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Shania
Twain
WW: How old were you when you joined No Secrets?
A: I had just turned 13.
WW: What did you learn from being in No Secrets?
A: That you really have to work hard to be in
a group. So many different personalities and backgrounds.
It's hard.
WW: Now the group has split, what happened to the other girls?
A: I really don't know. I think Carly is going to College here in California. I wish them the best.
WW: You have signed to Midas Records, and have said that they let you do everything. How has this experience been?
A: It has been unbelievable. It is so exciting to be able to have input on every aspect of my career. That is very rare in the music business. I didn't have that with Jive.
WW: Can you describe the sound of your new solo album, Empowerment?
A: Fun, dancy, energetic with a message
WW: You are launching a High School Tour this spring, what can you tell us about it?
A: It is a 50 city tour. VH1 is sponsoring. It is part of the "Save the Music" program. I am really excited. The tour starts in NYC March 1st and ends in Los Angeles at the end of May.
WW: Do you prefer touring or recording in the studio?
A: That's a hard one. I love them both but I really like seeing everyone when I am touring.
WW: Do you have a message with any fans, or soon to be fans?
