we're wild about pop culture!
WW: Tell us a little about you, your life?
RF: I'm nineteen years old, I'm from New York and I'm
currently living in Nashville, TN, I'm a singer/
songwriter and my first record "Rose Falcon" was
released in March of 2003.

WW: How did you feel when you were signed to Sony
Music/Columbia Records?
RF: I felt great! I really loved the label and everyone I
was working with. So, I was excited to get to work on
my record.

WW: How would you describe your music?
RF: I would describe it as Pop music with alot of heart.  I wrote all of the songs on my record (with the exception of "Breathe") either by myself or with my dad, Billy Falcon, so it is really personal and honest.

WW: Your song, "Up Up Up" was a huge hit on Disney Radio!  How was it making that video, and how did you feel when you heard it was #1 on Disney?
RF: Making the video was so much fun! We made it in Toronto , Canada which is such a beautiful place , and I got to bring my best friend with me- who could ask for anything better?  When it began climbing the charts ,I thought that was awesome. I really believed in that song right from thestart and it more than met my expectations.

WW: Do you write your own lyrics?
RF: Yes.

WW: Where do you get the inspiration to write your lyrics?
RF: I get my inspiration from life experiences, either mine or someone else's. All of my songs are about actual things that have happened or feelings I've had. For example the song "Best Friend" was written about my mom who died of breast cancer when I was four years old.

WW: Who are your musical influences?
RF: Obviously my dad ,Billy Falcon, who is also a singer/songwriter , Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow , Patty Griffin, Billie Holliday, Joanie Mitchell, Carol King, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello. Oh , I could go on forever. I'm not really a fan of artists I'm a fan of songs. So, I like a little bit of everything.

WW: What's in your CD player right now?
RF: John Mayer's new CD "Heavier Things", any Patty Griffin cd , Allison Krause, Pete Yorn, James Taylor.

WW: If you could work with any other artist right now, who would it be?
RF: Maybe, Sheryl Crow. I'd love to have her produce some of my music.

WW: Do you have a message to any fans, or soon
to be fans?
RF: Hey guys!! Thank you so much for everything!
Your support is what keeps me going! I'm currently working on my next record! Luke 11:9

WW: Thank You Rose! Good luck to you.
